Harold Crosby

Harold Crosby, Born Durwood H. Crosby in Houlton, Maine, Harold grew up in The State of Maine graduated from high school in the rural community of Albion, Maine.

After graduation, Harold worked at many jobs, construction, tree surgeon and worked for a TV store putting up TV antenals. Music was always in the back of his mind. At this time Uncle Sam called, Harold spent the next 21 years in the service of his country. Music was always very near and he played his brand of country music all over the world.

Over the years Harold performed and was the opening act for such greats as Dick Curless, Jimmie Martin, Back Owens, Tiny Lynn, Freddie Hart and many other artist too numerous to mention. Harold’s album credits include "Songs I Love To Sing", and Harold Crosby and The Travelers Live In Japan, plus some 25 singles that have reached the record charts all over the world with great sales in many countries, including France and England.

Harold has ran the gamut on a dozen small labels and one big label and was looking for his own sound. He then formed his own label "TRAVELER RECORDS", his fortune changed with chart records not only by himself as an artist but other acts signed to his label were moving up the charts.

Harold is a member of many organizations both in music and in the field of "Public Works" and he was made a Kentuckey Colonel in 1995, This was an honor bestowed on him by some of his peers in Nashville music circles.

His new album "The Traditional Train" is a trip into yesteryear and it brings out the many sides of Harold Crosby.

A new partnership with Johnnie Divine who owns the very popular "Outback Studio" in Wichita Falls, Texas which is a state of art in all aspects and has already produced a chart CD with Traveler Gospel Recording Artist Bonnie Rairdon, this is a very good start for the new year.

With new artist being signed it would seem that this would be a team to watch in the country, blues and gospel field in the future. At the present time Mr. Crosby is negotiating with a major plus, a worldwide outlet through Wal-Mart stores. Harold and his artist can be reached on the Internet.
